I'll say this, we did a Cyrus-IMAP to GMail migration and there was issues beyond the technical. GMail works on a different paradigm then Outlook/Exchange or IMAP. We had to do user training to get people to see how mail works in the GMail paradigm. That you will also need to take into time for.
