I think we can let this subject die before things do get personal.
I feel most everyone's point has been made. Everyone has their own preferences. I feel 
each program has
it's fault, that goes without saying.
One program may perform better for one person, where another performs better for 
someone else.
We need to let this subject die on this list, or move it over to the chat list.

I didn't mean to get personal. I just think it odd that so many
people think Norton is the very best (reminds me of what customers
say about Sony).

As I said I'm using Panda (because I like it better). Why would you
want to defend Norton 2004 unless you have tried it? Can't even
Symantec make a mistake? There reputation sure did go down with
this new release. This is not my opinion, but that of many others.

I don't mind if you send me one. I have RestoreIT which gives me
the option to select a restore point if I can't boot up to Windows.
Even if most of my files were infected, they all get replaced. Much
better than XP System Restore.

Worst case, I can insert my cloned drive and restore the latest
saved files from my backup CDRW.
