I think we can let this subject die before things do get personal. I feel most everyone's point has been made. Everyone has their own preferences. I feel each program has it's fault, that goes without saying. One program may perform better for one person, where another performs better for someone else. We need to let this subject die on this list, or move it over to the chat list.

I didn't mean to get personal. I just think it odd that so many people think Norton is the very best (reminds me of what customers say about Sony). As I said I'm using Panda (because I like it better). Why would you want to defend Norton 2004 unless you have tried it? Can't even Symantec make a mistake? There reputation sure did go down with this new release. This is not my opinion, but that of many others. I don't mind if you send me one. I have RestoreIT which gives me the option to select a restore point if I can't boot up to Windows. Even if most of my files were infected, they all get replaced. Much better than XP System Restore. Worst case, I can insert my cloned drive and restore the latest saved files from my backup CDRW. -- Best regards, Bil Green 2001 TV VCR Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 760-934-2001 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Saturday, January 31, 2004, 3:33:39 PM, you wrote: TTE> So Bil; TTE> When we get a block from Norton, do you feel it's OK to forward them to TTE> your personal email address?
