I'm still on 4013. Has 4573 fixed anything for anyone ? Like the high
upload utilization ? I'm using sf2/ssf0. Changing subframe is not an
option for me - I need to co-exist with a another provider who will
never change.
Thanks,
Ian

What is this 4573 eNB code people are referring to? I was
half-expecting a fall maintenance release to 6.6 like we had with 6.5
last year; is this a prerelease version of that?
We did have a truly bizarre problem with subframe profile 1, at least
with eNB 2616. It performed great most of the time, but then
randomly, specific CPEs would show a total dive in available
throughput and start taking massive packet loss for no apparent
reason. This happened across many CPEs spread out over many eNBs.
Rebooting either the CPE or eNB would not necessarily clear it up, and
it wouldn't target all CPEs on a given eNB (total eNB throughput
wasn't taking a dive, just throughput to one CPE in particular).
Switching back to subframe profile 2 cleared that issue right up.
Haven't revisited it since the 6.6 release. At the time, Telrad just
told us "if subframe 2 works better for you, then use that." :-/ Am
tempted to try it again, since I really would like to see more
capacity allocated to the upload.

1)Both upload and download speeds suck and very sporadic. Subframe
config 2 has very limited upload capacity, subframe 1 doubles that.
2)On the 7000’s we see the VPLS tunnel drop constantly (once every day
or 2). Rebooting the UE sometimes helps, sometimes you have to hold
your tongue the right way, balance on one foot and pat your head and
it might work. Sometimes just get pissed off and walk away and it
starts working.
3)Haven’t noticed issues with this yet.
All UE’s are installed with a CINR above 10 with chains within 2db
difference.

We are seeing the following issues with our Telrad Gear. Is anybody
else seeing the same/similar issues?
1) Issues with slower than expected upload speeds. Packet loss to
SM’s. Download speeds slower than expected.
2)VPLS customers losing their capability to pass data until the EPC is
rebooted. During the same timeframe access to the UE is fine.
3)Issues with VPN connections through VPLS setups.
