During my preparation of a few new dvipdfm generated pdf scores to be
added to the sheet note archive I've run into another problem with the
type 1 fonts. Common to these scores is that they are mtx typesettings
set up with 16 point overall font size and that they have a right hand
harpsichord stave with diminished fontsize (\setsize2\smallvalue). But
with the new type 1 fonts the noteheads of these staves look like
they're drawn in 16 point causing the alignment of noteheads and stems
to look really peculiar. Besides the alignment of beams in these staves
is *really* weird:-(
The described problem occurs with dvipdfm and also with dvips if type 1
fonts are used for postscript file generation.
