I remember that it worked, but i also remember that it was somehow
disappointing, and i don't remember the technical details. In principle
it is surely doable in MusiXTeX too, but the devil is in the (many)
details--as you know. And the question is whether this Ansatz would be
portable to pdf too. Nowadays one would probably do something in
MetaPost which produces a subset of postscript that can be imported into
pdf too.... It was Stanislav Kneifl who implemented the ps-slur.sty. And
his work is probably also in the opustex0.84 package, as a starting
point for a wizard out there, anyone?
