Many of the top level macros were renamed, and almost all low level
macros were renamed. Andreas wants to add to the the list of
differences the streamlined and nicely simplified input of slurs, ties,
chords and accents. Egler also tells me that he's currently implementing
a feature 'automatic beams': slope and orientation of the beams computed
by tex itself. And he plans to release that version to CTAN someday when
the documentation is there, too.
As David Bobroff say, there are two version 0.84 and 0.93 available.
There is also the Ur-version of of MusicTex there.
Egler says, that the great missing part of OpusTeX is its documentation.
So, if anybody of you feels adventurous enough to map the old doc of
0.84 to 0.93... this might give a boost to OpusTex.
Cheers
Erwin
