I get them all the time; the plethora of different pdf reader and
generator versions and browser implementations means that not
everything works with everything else.
The reason I get these instead of the .ps or .ps.gz problems is that I
agree with all the other points people have made about .pdf being a
format that many more people are set up to deal with, and therefore I
put my stuff up as pdf's. Like most other people who work in LINUX,
I find postscript much better for my own purposes.
