If you can make a short and concise description on how to configure both MS Explore and Netscape on all different Windows versions to handle .ps.gz files correctly, I'd more or less agree with you. I've tried this on a couple of different machines and have experienced all different kind of problems, depending on which version of OS and browser you have and on which order you installed GSView and WinZip. What I want to happen is that the .ps.gz file is sent directly to GSView (which knows how to unzip the file) or that the unzipped file is sent to GSView. What I've seen happen is (hope I remember this correctly, last time I tried was before the summer, see also the mailing list archives): - The browser sends the file to WinZip which doesn't know that it should open the file using GSView or - The browser unzips the file but doesn't understand that the extension for the unzipped file should be .ps - ... As you say, we've been here several times before, but I've never seen clear answer on how to make this work. /Mats _______________________________________________ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://sunsite.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
