What I have done is the following: Unfortunately it is not possible
to connect (in Windows, e.g. in the Explorer) the extension *.ps.gz
with gsview, so I connected the
extension gz with gsview. Since I use only zip for
compressing in Windows ( http://www.powerarchiver.com ), this
does not cause problems and it worked without further configuration of
the browser.
I cannot possibly know whether it works ``for all different Windows
versions'', because I only have Windows 98 and am Linux user. Maybe some of
the Windows freaks has better knowledge.
