What is your dvips logging output? Should look something like this: This is dvips(k) 5.86 Copyright 1999 Radical Eye Software (www.radicaleye.com) ' TeX output 2000.02.04:1951' -> actus.ps <texc.pro><texps.pro>. <cmsl10.pfb><cmbx9.pfb><xslu16.pfb><xslz20.pfb> <xsld16.pfb><cmbxti10.pfb><cmti8.pfb><musix16.pfb><cmr12.pfb><musix20.pfb> <cmbx12.pfb>[1] [2] And dvipdfm should not warn about type 1 fonts being missing.
