I obtain a gray surface when viewing any pdf document created by scanning, with
Acrobat Reader 6.0. Is there any stupid Viewing Preference that must be set carefully ?

Hints:

1: such documents sho up correctly with Acrobat 4 and 5, and with GSview 4.6.

2: documents created with a typesetting software, and converted to pdf afterwards work correctly (e.g. these of our Archive, thank God!)

An example of pdf scanned document can be found here:

at the Weyse, C.E.F. line.

I checked reading the Weyse music (Windows XP, Acrobat reader version 6,0), and - apart from the quality of the scan (I would hate to have to sight-read that!) - found no problem, in particalur the background color looked light regular white to me.
