Hello,

after a pause of some years I want to start again with musixTeX. I am
working at a version of Schumanns "Kinderszenen" that I want to adapt for
lever harp. I will need some simplifiactions and additional hints for the
harp player. It works in general, but I have some questions.

At first a technical question. The score has quite often some notes, that
belong to two voices. They are part of a beam as well as a single note. You
find this i.e. in the first bar of "4. Bittendes Kind", bass staff "A". How
can I code the in musixTeX or PMX. I never tried PMX yet.
I found a lot of sheet music at the icking archive. But most of the sheets
are only pdf files. These are good for musicians, looking for sheet music.
But some more samples for enhusiastic people would be fine.

I have installed musixTeX T109. In what cases should I upgrade to a newer
version?

At the other side is a lawyer question. I think I can write for myself as
much I like. But am I allowed to publish this work (pdf)? I don't plan to
sell it. But would it legal to sell the pdf or printed paper?

Sorry, these sounds like FAQ, but I didn't found the answer until now.

Best regards,

Helge
