God simply is the Universe And the correct answer is, the Universe comes from Brahman - implying thereby that Brahman is more than just the Universe. Brahman is everything. According to the Upanishads (which are in a condensed form in the Bhagavad Gita) Brahman is formless, changeless, attributeless and cannot be described.
