Thanks for the reply Bruce. David Ross came closest to a good solution by purchasing a drive enclosure from Centrex(sp). That would surely be the cost effective thing to do as their CDROM/DVD drive enclosures range from 9 to 12 bucks. But unfortunately, looks like none would work with the odd shape of the Thinkpad/Lenovo Multi-Drive because of the odd shape (i.e. the disk over hang accommodation on the right side of the multi-drive.)
