I'm referring to the overhang of the disk slot that is also mimicked by the bezel of the IBM/Lenovo drive, the "notch" that is about .25" to the right of the manual tray release hole.
All the enclosures I saw at Centrex were for a full width and height bezel, not to mention the close up photo looks like it is a different plug on the "hot end" as someone previously referred. Unless they sell a conversion for this of some sort. I still make give them a call this week to see if they have an accommodation for the oddly shaped thinkpad drives. You just trim the faceplate with a good pair of scissors. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Reid" <[email protected]> To: "'Bruce Markowitz'" <[email protected]>; <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, February 28, 2010 7:08 PM Subject: RE: [Thinkpad] Mod a CD/DVD ultrabay drive > Thanks for the reply Bruce.
