I second the motion. Upgrading to Windows 7 or Downloading to Windows XP Professional with Presentation Director give you more options that what you now have. Costly, but I can almost guarantee that Windows 7 will improve your life in a myriad of ways. W7 is Faster, more stable, and once you get to know it, a much easier set of choices all around. With VISTA you are just dealing with a dead and buried operating system from which you will never learn any thing additional that is useful. There is a strange simplicity with Windows 7that enables you and your Thinkpad to work together, improving as you go.
