I noticed the UltraBase has an Ultraslim optical drive bay. Would my T41p's DVD drive fit it? I think it's a CD burner and DVD reader but it would be better than nothing.
I thought "ultraslim" was what they called the slots for the 600 series. There's a compatibility chart somewhere on the ThinkWiki, but I'm too lazy to go find it.
When I bought my X201t the first thing I did was put the laptop's HD into the ultrabase, and give the laptop a nice new SSD. I can't recommend this too highly; backups through the ultrabase are lightning fast. I bought the adapter for the HD on eBay for around $7 shipped, fit perfectly.
