Due to an unfortunate series of IBM/Lenovo choices around naming these
components, the word "slim" appears confusingly in the names of three
different, distinct Ultrabay sizes.

The 600 series has an "UltraslimBay".

The T4x, T6x, Z6x, X4 Ultrabases, X6 Ultrabases have an "Ultrabay Slim".

The X200 Ultrabase, T400x/410x, T500, W500 series use a "Serial Ultrabay
Slim".

Here's the compatibility chart from thinkwiki:
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Ultrabay

It appears that these three different ultrabay formats are distinct, and
incompatible. But keep in mind that the thinkwiki info is only as good as
its contributors, and sometimes it is missing some of the finer details on
issues like this. I don't own either a T4x or an X200 Ultrabase, and so
can't speak with confidence on the issue myself.
