First, I installed the TW Notes instead of No-Brainer because I thought the additional editing tools would be useful. However, maybe they just add complexity?
Second, it could be my browsers are too old: IE 6 and FF 2. Are there known problems with these browsers? Under IE 6, everything is very slow, both saving and retrieving. FF is noticeably faster. But deletion of a tiddler doesn't work under FF, but does work under IE6. Does FF have trouble deleting when a file gets too big? Under both IE 6 and FF 2, the option setting for "no-save" keeps getting turned back on. Maybe different browsers are fighting for the same cookies? Neither the IMG nor FILE buttons work under FF. That is, they don't create the appropriate image tag or insert the specified text file. The IMG tag maker works under IE6, but it creates an image tag that doesn't work under FF (it lacks the file:/// prefix). The FILE button doesn't work under IE6, giving an error "unable to read contents from @7D:\test.txt7@" where @ is a block character of some unknown type. Are these problems resolvable? Are others experiencing them? Thanks, Mark --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
