Ah ha the penny drops. You are talking about the QuickEditPlugin.

I have no trouble with images in Firefox although I get a popup
warning that says "You can't open this location using this program
Please try a different location" I ignore it and it creates a valid
link in Firefox [img[Rose|file:///Y:/Pics/Rose.jpg]] The warning might
be security we'll have to talk to Eric about it.

The 'file' button gives the same warning but when I choose a file I
get no results at all from it. We'll have to talk to Eric about it

Saving TidddlyWiki to me is a matter of administration, I only save in
Firefox but check it in IE to see what's different or broken. Any
fixes are always done in Firefox then checked again in IE.

You absolutely must update Firefox. It was notorious for grabbing
memory until it was all gone. I downloaded Process Explorer just to
keep an eye on memory and kill Firefox before it hung up the computer.
I still need it because of Vista and it runs all the time so I can
kill programs that Vista gags on.

Firefox memory grabbing has been fixed to a large degree in FF3 and it
will solve a lot of your problems.

I'll only talk to you after you update Firefox ....and you're not
allowed to use any of my Tiddlywikis until then either :-)
