Hi Wolfgang, I am a bit overwhelmed by the wealth of (menu & config) features in Menuflex as much as in Groundless Desktop. I see many things on display with quite a lot of redunancy. It seems you you want o show all capabilities at once. I think it were a much more productive approach, though admittedly a bit more difficult to maintain, to have different "layouts" presenting users with a choice of either (topmenu, leftmenu or rightmenu) instead of having similar functionality all over the place.
KISS is a good principle in that respect (keep it smart/small/stupid/ swhatever and simple). Because, if I wanted to customize either of those for something that suits my late-night dreams, I'd have to do an awful lot of tiddly-fiddling to get it right and find all the spots which I must or must not touch to get where I want. So, I think seamlessly adding desired bits and pieces is the easier way to go, but that's just my 5 cents. Also, in those menus to the left... why do I need to click on the greater than symbol instead of the text itself to open the corresponding submenu? Kind regards, Tobias. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
