I agree the various os platforms and sometimes the browser gives rise to complexities. However I am not prepared to accept there is not an answer to this yet. Some complexity could be reduced through browser plugins and easy install scripts built it. But I believe there are as yet undiscovered possibilities hence this thread. This is not wishful thinking as I have clues but no final answer. If you look at what Microsoft can do with o365 and hand off to installed apps the technology exists and Google's progressive web apps is another. I am confident more clues are in the heads of community members and the value of creative solutions to overcome the status quo is a fact.
