Ciao TonyM My second post. Your focus in the question is on "saving" in general. A way to make it seamless. I think you overlook a USEFUL LIMITING FACTOR. As far as I can see commercially successful TW initiatives are not so much about system in principle as *CONTENT in practice*. What I mean is, APPS for specific purposes. A limited, but active, market fragment that can agree on ONE method for its needs. So, I think, the issue is also about WHICH Users for WHAT Purpose? That may simplify the HOW? That the focus might delimit the problem to something solvable more easily sometimes (e.g. "we want cloud"; "we only use Desktop"; "all our work is on Android now")? Whilst that might read like a complication, it might actually be a simplification that helps.
