But I think Bimlas' reply was good in underlining that, sooner or later, in one way or another, you will have to deal with cross-OS issues even if browsers work the same wherever. The universal browser will not solve it once the OS gets a grip. I AM of the view that the CAVEATS I described in my last post are the major barriers that come up, and I gave suggestions on possible resolutions. They were just broad comments, but maybe not so far off the point?
