Hi Springer I’ve had an initial stab at a freelinking plugin. As expected, it noticeably slows down large wikis with many tiddlers. But it works pretty well with smallish wikis. I’ve got some ideas for improving the speed, but it’s still worth trying out.
The plugin is available in the prerelease plugin library. That means you should download a copy of the prerelease from https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/empty.html <https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/empty.html> or https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/index.html <https://tiddlywiki.com/prerelease/index.html> and then use the plugin library to install “freelinks”. Because it’s a prerelease, please don’t rely on it for anything important, but do report how it works with your existing corpus. By default, freelinking is only applied within the main view template and the preview panel, and not, for instance, in the sidebar. At this point, automatically generated links do not appear as backlinks. Best wishes Jeremy. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group.
