Thanks for your input -- I'm new to discussion groups, so it was encouraging to get a couple of replies. Also helpful to know that I wasn't the only new user having some difficulties with this. One thing I must not have noticed until today, but that is even worse than the problem described in my email 'subject,' is that the 'import' button is always grayed-out, even after I enter a URL into the proper field. I'm not going to get very far without that working! At this point, I can't even get a manual install to work. I pasted the code for 'SwitchThemePlugin' and a title into a new Tiddler, and tagged it with 'systemConfig.' It shows up in the list of plugins, but when I open it, all I see is code (no functionality). I feel that TW is so useful that I'll just have to hang in there, and perhaps some day things will start falling into place. Regards
