You could use a macro like this:
\define lazyedit(field) <$edit-text tag="input" type="text" tiddler=
"$:/temp/lazy"/> <$button set="!!$field$" setTo={{$:/temp/lazy}}>Set</
$button>
And use it like this:
<<lazyedit myfield>>
