Great observation. IMO the fundamental "matching" between human cognition 
and some computed organisation ("how to organise me", in this context) is a 
long-term saga.

Part of the issue is that many of the apps. are developed from "what works" 
-- I'm un-convined that just because it works its actually a good optimal 
match to real human process. I have the uneasy feeling we are matching IT, 
rather than IT matches us. I think that is a good example of that.
