Just for the sake of discussion/argument, in my perfect universe, but
fixes would happen concurrent on trees 2.4.x and 2.5.x. The default
upgrade would increase in the 2.4 series until 2.5.x was ready to be
2.6.

Even stable, odd development, like the Linux kernel uses (used?).

If we accept Eric's argument that TiddlyWiki is mature in some form,
this seems like a reasonable way to be cautious and adventurous at the
same time.
