It might not be that clear cut. X11's clipboard system is a bit messy
and it is very difficult to get things wrong. E.g. firefox tends to be
a horrible buggy mess when it comes to clipboard.

So at this point I'd sum things up as gvim/konsole and FLTK have
compatibility problems. Someone will have to investigate the details
before blame can be assigned.

So in short, I don't find it unreasonable to file bugs against those
other programs (as well as against TigerVNC and/or FLTK).
