For example: <a href="large_image.gif"><img src="large_image.gif" width="320" height="240" alt="Big image - click to view full-size or download"></a> (That should be one long line - I hope the system doesn't apply confusing line-wrapping. But of course extra line-splits are treated just as any other white-space by HTML viewers, so it makes no difference if the line is split.)
