... but that cannot be done.  the routing of packets forward and 
backward is completely independent in IP.  So, you can only send replies 
to a packet when the source address is routable, which 10.*.*.* isn't.
That is why it is generally considered a good thing to block packets 
with a 10.*.*.* source at any router outside a 10.0.0.0/8 network.
