If I may give some advice to new NTP server administrators... It's fun 
to look at all the weird traffic you get as part of the NTP pool, but 
other than an intellectual exercise it's largely a waste of time. You're 
going to see a lot of junk packets; 10.0.0.0/8 addresses, Windows 
protocol nonsense, scripted hack attacks. Just ignore it. The only thing 
special to being in the NTP pool that's worth keeping an eye on is 
NTP-related traffic like the abusive clients that send hundreds of 
requests an hour. Even those you mostly have to ignore, since there's 
not much you can do to stop them. As long as the bandwidth doesn't get 
too much for you you'll be fine.
