well if you don't want to pay for a lgpl version (i have no idea of
its cost or even its very existence), you can always use the gpl
version, and play fair (and legal!) by giving your customers the new
module under the gpl.

it doesn't sound really fair that you want to take advantage of a gpl
development that you didn't develop or fund, by adding just an extra
1% (your module), and trying to make yourself a profit over and over
again, not even giving that 1% back.
