If you would read carefully the Odoo thread, I do not care about this (Odoo) project, this is their backyard. I encourage it, even if it uses unreleased code, this is their right. As you can see my point of interest there is primarily the certification. Odoo as the whole is interesting project although I do not understand how can it be done with exactly the same codebase. Anyway this is not I wrote about there. Maybe in Belgium it is not so much (15K) there are other countries where the situation is different... and again it is not the case. Even better - this is the reason to rely more on community. Anyway if I would think an say that Tiny are villains, I wouldn't neither use the software, nor provide the services based on that to our customers. Oh well, the temptation is great, OSS developer are catering the people which usually have more money than they have, even more - marketing people you hire, probably have worked for proprietary vendor before. They tend to work like they used to. My point in all that is be the early bird, and not let the project be crippled as other people have done it before, with other potentially great systems. Remember, Open ERP is not great about it's functionality, many proprietary software are more mature and feature rich. The difference is in distribution method, where more or less small editor, with not so many $ and HR, can do great things.
