Hi !

At the begining, release come very ofently (a bit chaotic also, but it's not
the purpose); and partner start to say : Hey Tiny, slow down ! It was at the
Partner meeting 2 year ago.

So, from that point Tiny start to make release once a year, with more
communication about. Even if we can improve this process a lot (overall with RC
and beta version), since the begining, everything is much more efficient. As
RValyi said : Tiny make miracle according to their ressources and income.

I must say that I was part of the people who ask them to slow down the release
of OpenERP... But I was wrong !! It is much more hard now than before, and I
also believe that releasing OpenERP more ofently will benefit everyone :

- More tester and more implication from the community on next revision
- Less GAP between revision
- Better migration script as more people try it
- Stable version will stay more stable as some improvements will wait next
release
- When a customer will need something huge, on my own experience, I think it's
ok to wait 6 month in order to have it !

At the end, people who don't have the time to migrate everyone to each new
version can easely wait the nexte one. So you'll don't have more work to do.
Even better, because everything have been tested by more users, your migration
will be easy, as it was before !!
