I do not know, maybe partners have summary information on core API changes, have not seen any available for community. So it is easier, so cheaper for us to migrate over to one well designed version, than over to two buggy created in a rush, which are designed by chance. Ignoring well known ABCs of design. It is main problem with OSS, the green "image", especially with business software. So it is better to do good think-over of features, before including them in a production release.
