Although I did not perhaps explicitly state that I had done my research, I had searched both the forum and the docs for answers and was either unable to find what I was looking for, or was still confused and was looking for clarification. One issue that newbies have when searching for information, is learning to use the proper terminology ... for example: it talked about downloading mysql version from something like this lp:~ ... as a newbie, I had no idea what that means. I did also read something about launchpad, but again I did not see anything that said this was a completely different website ... I thought launchpad was something on the openerp website.
