@scraps Don't get me wrong, I support a open source migration tool for OpenERP, best to have it in OpenERP itself. The discussion started with data mapping between tables, but in my opinion is is much more. That's why I did bring in my comments, so we could together brainstorm about the options/solutions we have that covers all issues we see and to create the best possible migration tool for V5 to V6 but also for future versions.
