What probably happens is that when sending the ACK the radio is
already receiving a corrupted random message (no RSSI/CCA is done, but
if the radio is already in RX mode then I do not force it to TX but
simply drop the ACK)

Except if the RF230 for some hardware reason is not so good at channel
26 as in the other channels. That is why I think more tests are
needed.\
