The general consensus was that it would be slowly rolled out, and would get to everyone eventually. This morning (Thu Mar 30) when I turned on the television, there was a message from TiVo, letting me know that the "Winter 2006 Service Update" had been received. The "clear" - "delete" function works just fine, and the "recently deleted folder" is present. I note that they've also changed the display order on the "TiVo Central" page; "Pick Programs to Record" is now near the top, instead of near the bottom. I wonder how long it will take for my "Select" finger to learn that? I also get more advertising. "The indirect road to college hoops" wants me to learn about <a certain vehicle>. Like goin' into a movie theater, paying $10 for a ticket, and having to watch commercials. Oh, well. So, thanks again for those who said to wait patiently.
