It is the same on the Humax boxes as the others. Are you doing it while in FF/RW? The jumping in 15 minute increments is what I expect to happen if you use it while in FF/RW. The 30-second skip is when you use it in normal play mode. And remember that each time you enter the code it is a toggle.
