So esentially you're just doing a regex match for dated in the the to
string.  Well, I'm pretty sure I could make that work, but it certainly
wouldn't be my first choice, are there any other solutions?  Basically I
just don't want to annoy people I'm corresponding with, even if they're
not on my confirmed white list.
