I can understand you, Karthik. Divya's concerns are also the same.

*To come to consensus on different issues:*

In order to come to a consensus, we need to discuss. Without discussion, we
can achieve nothing.

Technically we need people here to execute the tasks. But for the people
here to execute the tasks, we need support/consensus/guidance from the
people in US and Blr too. If our Chapters increase, from other places like
Nellore and Chennai too.

I started so many threads to discuss. Initially I shared my opinion as well.
Why no response?

*The process of Registration:*

It is not easy to register and if we start the brainstorming process, may be
we can conclude it after a considerable amount of time. Because this is not
the first time that we are discussing about Registration.

Though Ratan ji says one month, I feel it would be more in a worst case
scenario. I wish to consider worst case scenario in this regard. We need to
come to consensus on everything, Aims and Objectives, Roles and
Responsibilities.

*Volunteers and their time:*

Coming to volunteers, we have volunteers. By sheer coincidence most of our
volunteers are busy. This doesn't happen all the time.

Also that is the reason why we requested people to come and take up the
roles. Once we know the responsibilities of each position, probably
volunteers here can take up the roles.

*About FDP:*

In fact, FDP is the only project that attracts most of the non-members and
who knows in the near future we can make it like medical help. (such a big
one).

Efforts are on for the efficient execution of FDP and I am updating the
group regularly.

We haven't procrastinated for the lack of decision. Everyone in the group
agreed to proceed in the same way as we do until we come to a consensus. We
haven't done it due to the unavailability of volunteers.

This is the only major obstacle that I see.

*How to proceed?*

We have our own drawbacks. I agree. We are working on overcoming them. We
requested all the volunteers to give us their time-table (days and hours
that they are available for the group) so that we can schedule. We even
collected it in February's meeting.

We should have conducted the meeting even if two people attend. Let us
practise that. Why I haven't conducted is that I was pretty confident that
our members will attend the next time.

*Difference of opinion between On-field and Off-field volunteers:*

We are all unique individuals and there is bound to be a difference of
opinion. But that doesn't mean there are differences. I wish everyone to
show us any one activity that we took up without consensus? When it comes to
Nellore case, I have taken a decision. But I made sure that I bugged people
in US too to respond.

*Why Registration?*
The reason for our members to support this might be different. May be for
authenticity, may be we can apply for tax exemption, may be we can talk to
govt. and like-minded groups, may be for funding etc., etc.,

Personally why I want to go for Registration is for some official tasks it
is must that we should be a registered body. Due to some (technical) reasons
I understood that we can't approach other registered organizations for help.
So the sooner we register, the better.

Well, Other members also please respond. Owing to poor response for poll, we
haven't created it again. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't voice your
opinion.

Thank you.

PRASANTHI.
