On Alternative Education front the most successful models that I had learnt
in a seminar I attended in Dec on Social Entrepreneurship are Rishi Valley
school, Madanepally, AP and Bodh in Jaipur.

In Chennai, one of the ex-directors of SSA has studied various models and
adopted Rishi Valley School's model for the Govt schools which are under his
per-view and the success rate is very high. They have less drop outs, and
more learning happening.

I have an offer from Padmanabha Rao, director of Rishi Valley to visit to
his school and study their model.

I was planning to mail in detail about this, but had been engaged in many
things over the past few months and its becoming difficult to put together
the information.

We can plan a team, and visit the school and spend time with the program
directors and see how we can replicate. They are very cooperative and do not
worry about their name being attached for replication. Their point of view
is to spread this kind of education to the grass root levels all over and
are very cooperative to help anyone replicating.

Cheers
Chaitanya
