Dear All, May be some day we will be able to do this, but.....
Lets not discuss something which is quite not practical at this point of time but have it as a goal and start doing something .... as divaker gaaru said, we can start with implementing/practising something in the schools and Homes for children which we are visiting. This way we will have some activity/task to accomplish when we visit a Home or school(Right now most of the time people visit a home, distribute something feel great abt it and enjoy their smiles and come back) Even collecting 5 lacs and adapting a school is not that impossible.... but if we start discussing on what type of school/how to go about it/ where to start/ what to teach/ whom to recruit/ who will b responsible for what etc.... these discussions will not take us anywhere... and just attending seminars, meetings of great schools also no use I guess unless we start something.. Lets start something and then if we attend any workshops/seminars, we can immediately put that to use..... Just declare(dont discuss) the school name(may be mehdipatnam or a Home) , day, duration, topics/plays for each class and who ever interested wud come n join I guess. Below is my personal experience... why I am so particular is that I have been seeing so many people attending Jiddu Krishna murthy's and other such workshops of late but not doing anything.... I dont know if they are unable to replicate what they have been seeing/learning there or??? Even my father has been attending... almost 6 such workshops in the past 6 months or even more!!!!!!! another friend of mine and his father, who is an experienced educationalist and former university professor and has been running a school in Vijayawada from the last 25 years with some great ideology(I was a student of this school), have been planning to start a living in concept school for the last 2 years and for that they are attending workshops, visiting schools. But as they are into this research, from what I understand with my limited interaction with them, they feel this as ocean and they are continuing to learn the concepts and this way they will not start this school soon. I feel that they should start the school right away, as the construction is almost done with and then make the changes as and when they learn a new concept. May be I am wromg and only after every thing is clearly planned, it shud be started!!!!
