Dear Prasanthi garu,
I have been seeing lot of mails from you on this subject. Thanks for your
passion and enthusiasm for making this attempt. We should do some research and
practice in some schools before we setup have a school.
We can always set up a school, it should be a different school altogether to
the world.
This is a very vast subject, to study this subjects, lot of research required.
If we practice/educate couple of good things in schools initially taking couple
of schools like Mehdipatnam School and other 2 to 3 schools in Rural areas,
Once they are successful, we can always take it forward further. In the
group, if someone is interested to do research, this is the subject where lot
of energy, time, passion require and I will support.
I have few thoughts below:
* Teaching on our Culture. Teaching on Saint like Vivekananda will
help childrens, which will make them fearless person. I have just started at
Chinna Gottiga School.
* Teaching on Yoga, Meditation and Medication,
* Teaching on our culture, ethics and values.
* Teaching on Samscrit Shlokas. Most of us know the Slokas and
however, may not be in a position to explain the meaning . We should do some
search on this and have a CD with basic shlokas with meanings, the same can be
distributed to our adopted schools like Mehdipatnam and other schools.
* Learning should be fun rather than burden, for primary school kids,
there are many concept schools have come recently, can be studied/researched on
that. There are many CDs which are available in Hyderabad and however are not
reached to poor childrens in Govt. Schools. Research require on this primary
school education.
* Most of students in villages and even in Hyderabad, do not know what
to do after Xth Class (Pass/Fail), we have to organise couple of programmes
with experts . I am planning to organise One in Basheerabad Mandal, Ranga Reddy
Dist.
Many more thoughts....

Dear Birds,
Greetings.
Most of the groups in BosF talk about reforms in Education system. Why not we
set up one with our current strength?
These are my wild thoughts :)
There will be more activity based education and fun filled learning. Motto -
The end of all education is the desire to learn. The end of all education is
building of character.
The students should be confident about life, look forward to future with hope
and work with zeal and enthusiasm in the present. We will teach them the useful
things in life but not theory.
Let us draft a different pattern to grade children and counsel them where their
talents are.
Is this possible? Can we try?
