Hi Arun, You are right. If we think of starting something after learning everything, it can never happen as learning is a continuous process and there is always a scope for improvement. Nothing can be perfect.
Coming to the concept school and all, if you remember we wanted to start a home with some ideology (no financial dependence and other principles) but didn't because of the limitations (lack of volunteers - simple reason) We always have debates on volunteers or tasks. Some say if we start a work, volunteers will come automatically or convincing others to join and help in the process would be easy. Though I personally believe in getting volunteers time first and plan the projects based on their interest so that there is a greater chance of commitment and success, I observed that most of our members second the second point and so want to go with the majority decision. Coming to the ability to start a home (either children or any home) or a school, I have been ridiculed by my cousins many times that if we have the capacity to raise nearly 80,000 rs. a month (which was based on our member strength and contribution possibility) and if we do not think of that option, we are simply wasting time and doing things that are not of much value when compared to this one (in terms of gauging success - visible result and progress). At times I feel may be they are right. Coming to this learning center option (if not school), that is supposed to be a BosF project not TMAD alone. We have been discussing and discussing and discussing but what ti sthe use and end result? Nothing. So learning things by way of action is the only solution. If it has to be with the existing institutions, there would not be a free hand and we cannot work completely in the way we wanted to do. That is the basic hindrance and owning up things partially does not yield results. I need a collective project from BosF and as most of the teams claim to be interested in education, I thought this is the right concept for making everyone work together. We already started implementing things in Mehdipatnam school. Health club initiative has taken off. There are many others in the pipeline. Experimenting in the schools that we are working on has been started. That is why we are very keen on reviving the group and touch upon the core areas that we wished to work on. Hope we can draft a practical road map and also set milestones to achieve and scope to guage. Request the support of all Chapters in deciding a road map for us with some short term and long term goals.
