Hi Satya and team, But few thoughts of mine in those lines are:
1. Our process should only speed the way we work than putting too many decisions makings, discussions and delaying of things. let us uncomplicate. ;) . So, I am ok with DC/DB if it speeds up things for me. I would like to work the same as i have been till now without any hassles or delays in things. 2. I think we need to aggresively work towards fund raising and doing activities. I dont think we should worry regarding revolutionsing something in this society. We are eager to do as many things as possible first and let us continue the urge. we will slowly work on adopting schools and working for them or working for bigger cause that require sustained efforts. Right now, our focus should be reaching as many people as possible and taking up individual cases. if we can take big projects, well and good. but a sustained volunteer base is very important for that. 3.So my take for next two years should be on funds and sustained volunteer base as priorities. We have enough number of activities to do and every one has an idea but we dont have either funds/volunteer base (I mean sustained) . This is the ground work that the leadership team should work. we need to have leadership team, sustained volunteer base, sufficient funds. we need to have leadership team who can come out with project ideas and works towards volunteer coordination and funds management. We need more people to be part of this. 3. Taking up causes that is short but penetration to masses is high is also one area we need to work. That way, funds and volunteer base will be increase. Say, the elections campaign during elections and reaching out to colleges and masses is one simple example on short term campaign and higher penetration. This is eample acitivity. But intentions are clear I Hope. once we have things in item3, we can plan for big projects like adopting schools or etc.... My final word is that everyone wants to as much as possible to this society. The approaches like going to masses using short campaign may look to members like we are not working for society but doing some gimmicks. But these are just means to achieve the larger goal in faster means and we shouldnt see it as some acitivty for name sake or time pass. But a genuine urge and means to reach larger goal. Our intentions one day will bear the fruits with sustained and focussed efforts though it may seem kind of out of focus for people in the intermediate stages.
