What is your configuration? Are you using the internal server (USB drive connected to Touch), an external server (Squeezebox Server on another computer) or connected to mysqueezebox.com over the internet?
If the Touch is connected to a network (for connection to a server or mysqueezebox.com) is it connected with a cable or via WiFi? If its connected via WiFi, try running with a cable to see if that might make a difference. If you are already connecting with a cable try connecting to mysqueezebox.com and try an internet radio station and see how that behaves. I would try and isolate the problem, the ones that I can think of are: Connection, cable vs WiFi. Server, builtin server, external server or mysqueezebox.com Firmware, try reloading the firmware Hardware, there are issues with some USB drives not working well with Touch.
